Guess what day it is!

Wow, time has really passed by and I haven't posted anything. I guess I will post something today. I have done things, I just don't post them. I am getting real lazy on doing that. I am being lazy right now. I am not even typing this. I am talking into my phone and letting  my phone type this message. Technology has really made us lazy.

Anyway, back to what I'm supposed to be doing. These are some shoes that my daughter wanted me to design for her. I only put her name on them using my cameo and some vinyl. Of course since I love my cameo and my daughter so much you know I would do that, so here they are.

Mo is still Designing!

I know, it looks like I am sleeping, but I'm still doing a little something. I'm just not writing or posting. I've even taken pictures. I did say that I would blog about old work that I've done, I'm just a little lazy when it comes to blogging, I guess. So many Wednesdays have come and gone and I haven't put up one pic. Well since I'm up early and school is out, I decided to put up something that I have on my phone. I prefer pics from my other camera because the quality is much better, but you'll get the picture (drum beat, pun not intended)

Nail Art

I really need to learn how to use this thing because I am getting used to my silhouette and starting to create more things. I want to start designing like the big designers online.  They really create some fantanstic stuff.  Anyway, I will start with a nail design that I cut with regular vinyl.  I got a babyphat image from online and trace cut in silhouette studio and put it on my nail. I wore it for Labor day. This week, I used contact paper and cut out my initials after welding it together.  I switched to contact paper, since it was thinner, but you can't cut intricate designs with it and it is so hard to weed, OMG!

Guess What?

I decided to post my pics on my myspace page. I already had it up, and I wanted to put up the stuff that I had already done.  I still want to be able to talk about what I am doing now and blog about how I did it, but if someone wanted to see what I had done, I didn't have a way to show them those things.

I am excited that my sister likes her shirts for her students that I did with my Yudu.  I was ready to toss that thing, but decided to give it a try.  I was also ready to toss my Photoshop Elements 6 because I have Windows 7, but I didn't know about the compatibility stuff and that would have been a big mistake.  I am still learning, but I don't want to learn too fast. That way when I bring it back on my blogs, I can bring it where someone can grasp it like easily and openly like I am (:

Trying to keep up

I am really trying to keep up and post new blogs every week but.....  Ok, my life isn't that busy. I did just do my yearly field day t-shirt order for my sister and her students.  I will post pic when I learn how to to all of that.  My goal was to post pics every week, but I can't even keep up on posting every week.  I noticed that I forgot to mention that I have a yudu.  I used that to do my sisters shirts.  I used iron on vinyl to put the names on the back.  I guess it does no good describing the tees if I'm not putting the picture up. Anyhoo, just wanted to at least write something on my blog.  Pictures next week...I hope (-8

I used my YuDu for the first time on these :)

Getting Started

It is finally time to launch my blog, so I'll start with some old things I did because I am still learning the whole cricut, silhouette, inkscape, scal, & design studio world. It's sad, but true.  I also use photoshop and other printshop software to create paper designs, which I love creating as well. I started out with a baby bug and probably cut one project on my baby bug, but when I saw the expression, I had to get it. Then I saw the silhouette cameo and had to get that too. I am a talker and wish I could give a lot of tutorials. I will try to do so, but for now I will just show a lot of what I've done and what I've used. ENJOY!
